E' piuttosto raro trovare da questo lato dei Monti Pisani rustici in pietra faccia vista, perchè spesso sono stati recuperati negli anni intonacando le facciate esterne. E' forse piu' facile individuarli sul versante Lucchese, per esempio nella zona del Compitese dove la tendenza è preservare piuttosto che cambiare. Eppure queste mura rustiche e un po' sbeccate fanno di questo casale una proprietà speciale e la rendono così tipicamente.toscana! Si trova in posizione leggermente collinare, a pochi minuti di auto dal centro storico del borgo di Calci, quindi a circa 25 minuti dall'aeroporto Galilei di Pisa e 35 minuti dalla costa e dal mare, godendo di un clima favorevole, sia in estate che in inverno. Il layout interno è estremamemente semplice perchè ogni piano dei tre disponibili (per un totale di 150 mq calpestabili), collegati con scala interna, ospita due vani: al piano terreno, accessibile da due aperture, è presente una stanza con camino e un tinello con accesso al bagno. Il piano primo è occupato ancora da due stanze con vicino bagno e infine ancora due stanze con bagno si trovano al terzo piano, accessibile anche da scala esterna. La presenza dei tre ingressi e di un bagno ad ogni piano rende possibile l'uso futuro a scopo ricettivo oppure come dimora familiare con 3/4 camere. Il terreno di circa 3000 mq accoglie alcune piante di ulivo ed essendo in alcuni punti pianeggiante, permette di ricavare spazio per piu' auto, conferendo un'ottima raggiungibilità alla proprietà. Il fabbricato, pur versando in buone condizioni, necessita di lavori estetici e di ammodernamento ed è ancora edificio rurale: è servito da un forno in muratura ed è collegato all'acquedotto e ad un bombolone del gpl ma l'accesso al metano dista solo pochi metri.
